You’re in the right place! Poppy House was created with beginners in mind. We can help you choose beginner-friendly canvas, find the right fibers and supplies, and teach you the basics so you can start stitching with confidence.
What does “Poppy House Exclusive” mean?
It means you found something extra special! 💕 Poppy House Exclusives are designs created especially for us and available only through Poppy House.
Does my canvas come with fibers?
Unless otherwise noted, canvases and fibers are sold separately. This lets you choose your own colors and textures and make the project completely yours. Need help? We’d love to help you pull fibers for your canvas!
Do you offer beginner classes?
Yes! Poppy House is all about making needlepoint approachable. Our beginner classes will walk you through everything you need to know to start your first project. Keep an eye on our Classes & Events page coming in 2027!
Do you host stitching events?
Absolutely! 🌷 We love any excuse to stitch together. Poppy House will host events like Sip & Stitch nights, workshops, and other get-togethers throughout the year. Follow us on social media and check our website for upcoming events.
Does Poppy House offer finishing?
Yes! We offer many self-finishing options. Once you’ve finished stitching your canvas, we can help turn it into something you’ll love. Additionally, we work with our own skilled finishers. Finishing timelines vary depending on the type of project, time of year, and our finisher’s current turnaround time. We will give you an estimated timeline when you drop off your piece.
Can I bring in a canvas I purchased somewhere else for finishing?
Yes! Your canvas doesn’t have to be purchased from Poppy House for us to help with finishing.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Because picking out a new needlepoint project is half the fun. 💌 Poppy House gift cards make the perfect gift for both new and experienced stitchers.
